"SHOCKING REALITY"

    As the day was pleasant. George traveled from Manchester to Lancaster to his father. George studied in Manchester. So he lived in dorms. When he reached home, He was very happy to see his family especially his father Jack and mother Myla. He saw his father Jack was in the study room with his Mother Myla. He went to them and shouted hay Dad hay, Mom, with a full of excited tone. His father was the first who got up and hugged him and hugged him, he said “what a surprise”.

    When did you come?, they walked toward the hallways and George asked about his brother ‘Thomas’, where he is, I can’t see him at home?  Silence fell on his father Jack stared at the floor. “He…”  The tea is ready, the maid interrupted and everyone was relieved. His younger sister came. Her name was Jessica. He asked brother what you are brought for me. He said happily that I brought a cute doll for my little cute doll.

    Everything was going well, now it was time for dinner. The maid put the food on the dining table in the dining room. The food was delicious, and George kept talking to his parents and with little sister Jessica, and then after the dinner. He went with Jessica to his room to show the Doll. When he entered the room, his old memories were refreshed. He saw the picture of his brother on the wall. And he began to feel the absence of it. He immediately asks Jessica about Thomas, why no one telling where he is and Jessica started crying at his question.

    Hearing the sound of crying jack and Myla rushed to them in the room. George asked his parents, where was Thomas, where is my brother?  Then tears began to flow from the eyes of his parents. He insisted “where is my brother”? Then his father shouted that he is no more. When George hears the news of his brother death, he said OH THOMAS and starts crying uncontrollably, Gorge falls on the sofa placed in the room. Jack stepped forward to support him, but he told them clearly “Leave me alone” for some time.

    So, they left him alone and went out. He saw a picture of his brother Thomas. He stared at the picture intently, and he was lost in the memories of his brother. The beautiful moments that George had spent with his brother Thomas once come before his eyes. He remembered the morning when they use to go for a walk with his brother, the evenings when they sat together and he would say “Thomas tell me something” because Thomas was a writer. George asked, what you will write about me when I will go to study in Manchester.

    Thomas said lovingly just leave me alone. Suddenly he comes back to reality. He moves towards the Piano. Switching on the lights. Floods of memory hit him and he stared at the piano. There were piano notes scattered George grabbed a piece of paper from there. There was something written on that paper.

Moments pass by like centuries

When you don’t come

As I long for your presence

I shatter into countless pieces

Then mend back into contentment

Come back as the twilight has settled, Come back as the time has stopped.

    Thunder strikes and he looks at the sky through the window. There he feels his brother Thomas.  George gets scared, then there is a sound HYY George I am here. He got became very frightened and fell on the floor. Thomas moved towards George, he smiled and said, George, I surprised you your friend had already informed me of your arrival. But George could not Uttar a word as he was staled and confused, because he is n a coma due to truce
